Is this a free service?

There is no cost to use the 45Fix web site to find information or reliable Service Partners. You will then receive multiple proposals on your projects. The Service Partners in our network know that they are competing for your business and are motivated to offer you competitive pricing. 45Fix simplifies the payment process by allowing you to pay online with a credit card in most cases while we handle the distribution of funds.

Who do I call if I have questions or concerns during the project?

Sometimes the most efficient way to get answers for simple questions is to ask the Service Partners directly while they are in your home. If both parties aren’t face to face, it is often more convenient to communicate questions and concerns directly to a 45Fix customer service representative, since we stay in constant communication with our network of Service Partners while a job is ongoing. Your local 45Fix representative is also available to help. Customer service will check in with you pro-actively according to your preferred schedule as discussed at project kickoff. We ask that you always make sure that 45Fix is aware of all conversations you have with contractors and decisions that you make during your project so that we can keep an accurate history on file.

How do you ensure that contractors are reliable?

In addition to our background checks, 45Fix meets face to face with every contractor who wishes to join the 45Fix Service Provider Network. We also continually monitor Service Partner performance during each project and record customer comments. Our background checking includes verifying that the contractor carries insurance and required licenses. 45Fix also checks to see if the contractor has any better business bureau (BBB) complaints or judgments against the company or owners.
